GL all, these are my first baseball posts of the season..let's get off to a good start.

3* Cubs/Brewers OVER 8 (-130)

Both staters (Harden and Looper) had speed bumps in their Spring Training schedules due to various injuries and even food poisoning. They key here for me is Looper, he got lit up in the spring, and teh Cubs are used to facing him in his days with St. Louis. I'm thinking Cubs 7, Brewers 3...over.

2* Rockies (+115) over Philly

Yes, the defending World Series champs and their ace should feast on Colorado starter Jason Marquis in the thin air of Coors Field. However, I'm thinking Hamels gets lit up today...he'll have trouble keeping pitches down, and the Rockies hitters will make him pay. I'm going with the Rockies based upon how this line has trap written all over it. When was the last time Cole Hamels was a -125 favorite? They're begging you to take Philly, so I'm not...play the Rox
