Zimmermann is 2-2 on the season with a 6.07 ERA and will match up against one of baseballs’ greats in Randy Johnson. Zimmermann is the top pitching prospect for the Nationals and I would not give up on him yet.

He has been quoted stating that he does not want to be part of history by being the opposing pitcher that Randy Johnson gets his 300th win against. He may have no choice despite scoring 10 runs last night the Nationals have had much to be happy about on the offensive end. I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened again tonight.
