Low totals

Have you ever seen so many Over/unders below 7 in a season? Last nights game between Seattle and the Padres was set at 5.5 , a ridiculous total that still flew under the number. Is it better pitching this year or is it the end of a steroid era that will see a steady decline in hitting?

Seattle games have gone 7 runs and under 16 of the last 18 .

Im not even a baseball fan, and hardly bet the sport. But I have been looking into it recently with the reduced amount of NBAand NHL games being played now that theres only 4 teams left in each sport... what stood out to me when I was looking at the baseball totals is how many games are set at 6.5, 7, 7.5 and yes last night even 5.5. An over under set at 8 seems high now ! What happened to the days of over unders being 9, 9.5?

Trying to get some value out of these low totals by taking the overs but they are still ending up 2-1 or 4-0.....brutal.
