Cool Make Sence Play #5 in a Row @ 10:05

Look - Not much time to provide reasons.... If interested, I can post them after 8:00pm, as to why this play just MAKES SENSE.....

Looking for #5 straight, although I lost my last time out with a Don't Make Sense Play...

That said, it would be smart to Play the Angels at 10:05

Again - If you want to read reasons why...I'll post later.

Good Luck tonight in whatever you play.

Thanks 2nd and Stunna...

Here's my reasoning...
Lewis is a good pitcher but can be a bit inconsistent at times. It looks to be an iffy spot for him tonight. He has faced LA once this season and went 5 innings giving up 4 runs. Only 3 SO that game and gave up two long balls. Lewis and Texas went on to lose 15-4. The meat of LA's lineup, Trumbo, Hunter, and Wells, have all taken Lewis deep. Although LA is only batting .208 vs. Lewis lifetime, they have a .305 OBP with Lewis giving up 10 BB in 72 ABs. So far, he has had a tough time keeping Angels off of the bases. Considering the above, it Makes Sense that the Angels have an opportunity to give Weaver the run support he needs to grab a win.

With the exception of his last outing, Weaver has been one of the most solid pitchers in MLB. He got rocked by Toronto, but I don't take much into consideration given the circumstances i.e. (a) it was at Toronto, (b) Toronto has the type of offense that can do that to the best and (c) Weaver was likely a bit rusted coming off of a six-game suspension. Otherwise, he has only given up more than 3 runs in an outing twice all season. Most importantly, Weaver has faired very well against the Rangers. Overall, Texas is only batting .237 in 380 ABs. In games this season against Texas: 9 innings 1 ER, 6 innings 4 ER, 7 innings 0 ER = 2.04 ERA. Overall, Texas is only getting about 2-3 runs per outing versus Weaver. He is 8-0 versus Texas in Anaheim with a 2.32 ERA.

It Makes Sense, and hopefully I win 5 of these plays in a row,
extending the record to 7-2

Good Luck fellas
