Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

NEW YORK (AP) -Mark McGwire has finally come clean, admitting he used steroids when he broke baseball's home run record in 1998.

McGwire says in a statement sent to The Associated Press on Monday that he used steroids on and off for nearly a decade and he apologizes for his actions.

He says: "I wish I had never touched steroids. It was foolish and it was a mistake. I truly apologize. Looking back, I wish I had never played during the steroid era."

Yeah agree this is a weak attempt to get into the HOF. After a couple of years of getting ignored guess he figured time to try a new strategy. Doubt it works. The time to come clean was in front of Congress.

a weak attempt at getting in the HOF not to mention he doesn't want it to be a distraction or an issue for himself now that he's coaching w/ STL this season

after the whole "not here to talk about the past" nonsense with congress, not sure how anyone could really stand this guy. good luck big mac

Agree with WCO

He has been out of baseball for so long hiding from the truth but to be back in a Cardinal uniform it was inevitable that he had to come clean before the start of the season

98 season was a lot of fun to watch. if these 2 idiots would have just been like "yeah i dabbled in some shit, sorry about that. everyone else was doin it. wasn't it fun to watch though?" i think a lot of people would have been willing to brush it off

sosa forgot english, mcgwire wasnt there to talk about the past, palmeiro gave a heartfelt lie desk poundings included, and roger clemens thought andy pettite midremembered

these guys all went about it like such douche bags that if left a sour taste in a lot of people's mouths. no one even brings up steroids when you hear about andy pettite anymore because no one gives a shit, he came clean. what bothers most people IMO is that they really thought they would pull a fast one

honestly can anyone disagree with me? if right when this whole thing started all the roid freaks just came out and said "well yeah of course i juiced a little. everyone else was, baseball had no testing policy, figured i needed to stay on par with everyone else. sorry. as long as everyone is clean and held to the same standards then i completely agree with banning hgh from baseball. peace out congress" wouldnt things have been a little more smooth?

mcgwire is a douche, clemens is a douche, bonds is a douche, sosa is a douche, palmiero is a douche, the list goes on. a little douchey for takin the roids, but a LOT douchey for how they all handled it.

Dead on WCO. People more pissed because a bunch of dumb jocks thought they could flat out lie to everyone and we were either so stupid we would believe it or admired them so much we would just let it go. No one wants to be treated like they are gullible. And these clowns are finding out just how pissed people can be by looking at the HOF voters.

who cares, every generation since the beginning of time has used whatever edge they could to be the most competitive at the highest level, and before baseball even existed... and im tired of all the "old" sports announcers bashing these guys to pump there generation of ball players... do we really need to talk about Maris how he hit 61 and only over 30 one other time, nah, its all inmaterial... and Ruth never used a corked bat.

just wish he would stop crying. Whenever an athlete gets caught up in some dumb shet. They give us crocodile tears. I really hope that Tiger when he returns, doesn't start balling like a little baby. Tiger, please just come back and say, I had some problems with my personal life that is none of your business. Don't give me this fake nonsense. If this stuff did not come out, McGwire would have never mentioned it, it would have been his little secret. Selig ultimately to blame, Loved his excuse today. Blah Blah, Blah, we now have the toughest testing standards, which we know is b.s.
Hey Mark thanks for confirming what we all knew you are a fraud.
