A couple of pricey ones in the mix for today, but can't lay off em.....

Phillies -185 Halladay is 10-1 (team 12-1) against the Nats, with a 1.98 ERA and 0.930 WHIP. Phillies on a 43-13 run against Washington.

Phi/Wash Over 7 +100 Philly bats are hot during the past week, giving them a 6-0-1 o/u record in those 7 games. The over is 19-6-1 in the last 26 meetings in Washington. Good wind today.

Braves -175 SD is 3-9 in their last 12 at Atlanta, and SD is a poor 1-9 this year in game 1 of a series when they won their last game. Harang is 1-3 against Atlanta; Hudson is 5-0 against SD.

Hou/Cub Over 13 -115 Go over every double-digit total at Wrigley. Wind out to left at 16 to 20 mph today. A couple of starters who usually don't go more than 5 innings doesn't hurt.

Rockies +108 Colo is 4-1 in Hammel's last 5 starts against LA. The Dodgers are 2-7 in Billingsley's last 9 against Colo. Rocks scoring 5.6 rpg on 0.275 team hitting in the last week. LA scoring just 3.4 rpg 0.239 team hitting during that same time. If Colo can get Billingsley out, the LA pen stinks at home, with a collective 6.10 ERA and 1.783 WHIP.

Fla/Ariz Over 9.5 -110 Saunders with a 6.25 ERA and 1.975 WHIP at home this year. Volstad with a 6.65 ERA and 1.661 WHIP on the road this year. D-Backs hitting really hot in the last 10 games or so, and they hit better overall at home. Great weather for an over in AZ tonight.

LA Angels -110 Santana is improving, going 2-0 with a 2.05 ERA and 0.955 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Hochevar heading the other way, going 0-2 with a 4.57 ERA and 1.338 WHIP in his last 3 outings. Hochevar also a career 0-3 against LAA with a 8.26 ERA and 1.897 WHIP. KC in bad spot, 1st game home after bad road trip, and LA generally owns them in KC, going 27-10 in their last 37 there.

Lots of leans that didn't make the cut for one reason or another: SF, NY Mets, Detroit, Yanks, Balt, and Cleve.

Seattle -120

St Louis has a pretty good ump for them, too, but I was leaning SF earlier, and they're a little pricey for just an ump play.

Had a lean to the Yanks earlier, but didn't play it. Was not liking the spot for Seattle after the Yanks left town, but it's tough to go wrong with some of these ump. The best ump plays went 7-0 yesterday.
