They had discussions back during winter meetings but nothing since. The Denver Post today reported that the Rockies would be interested but do not have the financial flexibility they had a few months ago due to committing over $273 million in contracts to the likes of Tulo & Gonzales. Rangers would have to eat a chunk of Young's contract, 3yrs $48 million, for this to happen. Previous discussions had multiple teams involved but not sure who.

Only person I have heard in a trade was Lopez as The rockies dont want to give up AAron Cook and Tex would have to eat about 20mil in salary i read
