I don't like giving away their top prospect for a mid range closer in my opinion. Those type of prospects don't grow on trees & hope it doesn't bite them in the ass. As much as I am a Jays fan, I like the Twins and how they work their minor leagues. I just think they over paid in this deal.

Yes, Gardenhire says Capps closing, Rauch to set up

Agree that I think they might have overpaid here

and when they trade Dunn that should give you about 5 save opportunities for the rest of the season......he will convert three of them....

and they are going to ease him into the closers role with Clippard and Sean Burnett getting some chances.....

I wouldnt rush out and grab Drew......

So Dunn is the reason they won't get save opps lol? Zimmerman is better then Dunn anyway. No Dunn equals less chance of 4 run wins if anything, Storen very solid bench closer option i will go on the record as saying that, and honestly there's maybe 1 or 2 people here who know more about players, major or minor league, than me.

have both rauch and capps. rauch the better closer imo. now i got to deal with capps and don't get the benefit of saves with rauch.

also with cantu going to texas i have 4 position players from texas on my team. my fantasy team is getting all ****ed

I sometimes forget that people have ridiculous fantasy leagues with giant benches and no limits on moves that they can keep relievers on the bench.....if that is the case, than sure he is worth a spot......most leagues with roster limits, I can't see him as a Top 24 reliever the rest of the season..........

Especially with them going to a closer-by-committee approach to start, and the fact that Storen walks so many batters.........

Wilson Ramos' stock has taken a big hit in the last 12 months FWIW. From what I heard he is looked at more now as a defensive specialist then a catcher with a big bat.
