The New York Mets have now hit 7 in a row and now are trying to press on and get 10 in a row to break there home record of 10 straight wins. They send their Ace Johan Santana to take the hill for the Mets. His ERA has been at an all time low at .91 , along with a WHIP of .91 he is absolutely in rare fourm, no doubt about it. he has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this year and 2.7 in his last 3 starts. Here is where it gets intersting. Santana has had on an average of 2.7 runs in his starts for the Mets, 2.0 runs overall. The support is lacking when he is on the feild, we are also looking at Santana's record against the Braves 0-3 and a limetime TRBS of 1-4. Now face a Braves team has won 2 games in a row. and has dominated the last 2 road series against Philly and Florida sweeping the Marlins and taking 2 out 0f 3 games from the Phillies. The Braves send Their top pitcher Derrick Lowe to toe the slab for Atlanta. Lowe was roughed up last time out against the Marlins giving up 6runs (all earned) off 7 hits in 5 innings of work but won the game in dramatic fashion 8-6. Lowe has a decent ERA of 3.98 overall but it has jump up due to his last performance, he carries a WHIP of 1.39. Derrick Lowe has a great road record of 3-1 and a WHIP of 1.08 he run support has been fabulous by this Braves team. He is getting 6 RPG overall and over 8PG in his last 3 starts. Atlanta has been feasting off lefties this year batting almost .290 against them. They have manage to get the bullpen in order as they have settled down with an ERA of 2.25 and a WHIP of 1.12. A very good price for Derrick Lowe in this spot.

Just a question. Isn't it a bit early to have a GOY, or do you have many of them, which would not make any of them GOY's. Other than that, nice write up. If I wagered on baseball, and I do not, I would be tempted.

Arizona is in a struggling mode right now as they have dropped 6 of their last 10 games. Now look make it 2 games in a row as they sent John Garland to the hill. Garland has performed better than any other pitcher in the line up. His Era is is just over 4 and has improved in his last 3 starts to just over 2.60.
and A WHIP of 1.21. The DBacks have won 5 out of 6 times he has toed the slabb and is 3-0 in his last 3 starts. Now he faces the Cincinnati Reds who last year won 8 of the last 10 times they have met. The Reds will counter with Bronson Arroyo who has just had a terrible last 3 starts with an ERA over 11 and has allowed over 8 RPG in those 3 starts. his ERA overall is still over 7. Cincy has a decent bullpen who has an ERA of under 4 but they have over worked their bulpen as there is only 3 pitchers that has been rest and 3 of them have ERA over 10. I look for the DBACKS to go with Garland once again and get win #2 in a row.
