MLB parlay

2-team MLB Parlay for 9/22:

>Atlanta Braves (+140, listed Hanson and Oswalt)
>Atlanta/Philly OVER 7.5 runs (-115)

The reasoning: The Braves NEED to win this game...a win will move them to a decent 4 games back of Philly, as opposed to a nearly-impossible-to-overcome 6 games.

I know that Oswalt has been money lately, and Hanson has struggled, but the Braves tend go on runs--both good and bad--and I see this as the start of a positive push for Atlanta heading into the season's home stretch.

In the first two games of the series--both Philly wins--the Braves have kept things close, but critical errors by rookies (Heyward's error in the first game and Minor's why-would-you-pitch-to-Werth approach when Ibanez is on deck that led to a three-run homer) made the difference as Atlanta added late runs in both contests. I like this one to head over the total as both teams have enough power in a hitter-friendly ballpark, and combine that with two fastball pitchers, balls are bound to be flying out. I'm looking for the Braves to jump out to a quick lead, and Hanson will give up runs as well, but he will hang in long enough to pass the advantage on to the Braves stellar bullpen. Derek Lee has been red hot as of late, and Martin Prado and Omar Infante are bound to have good games after stinking it up in the last two. I forsee a Braves victory, something in the 6-3 or 6-4 range, which would give us a parlay win.

Risking $60.65 to win $211.48

Good luck if you follow!

Thanks, yeah I thought the line was kind of low...usually with a team going for their 10th straight win and an ace pither on the mound would be in the -160 to -180 range. Hopefully we're right
