J.A. Happ has been a great starter for the Phillies. Overall he is 7-1 with a 2.97 era. Happ's last 3 starts has been no different going 2-1 with a 2.70 era. On the road his dominance has continued posting a 4-0 record holding a 1.57 era. On the season, the Philadelphia has ony won 6 of his 12 starts and 3 of 6 on the road when J.A taked the hill. Yusmeiro Petit will go for the Diamondbacks. When we mention the word Petit we are not talking Andy here.
Petit is having a terrible year thus far. He is winnless in his last 3 starts holding an 0-2 record with an eevated era of 6.32. At home his struggles have continued going 0-4 with Arizona dropping all 6 of his home starts. Overall the D-Backs have dropped 8 of his last 9 starts the only team that this team has had succsess against when Petit take the hill is the Rockies. It seemd like a long shot here but trust me it is not. Dominating teams seem to save their energy for more competeitive teams it was proven when Colorado underestimated this D-Back teams. and you will see it today. This game will shock you as Petit gets his second win of the year.

ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS +147

The Cardinals have taken the first 2 games of this Doger series and now look to go for the sweep. St Louis will send Joel Pineiro to the hill his last 3 starts have been outstanding going 3-0 with an unhittable era of .082. Overall he has a 9-9 record on the year with a 2-0 lifetime against the Dodgers. the Cardinals have won 10 of his 19 starts this season. Clayton Kershaw will go for the Dodgers. Overall he owns an 8-5 record with a 2.96 era. In his last 3 starts, he is 2-0 with 1.42 era. Kershaw is an above average pitcher on the road going 5-3 on the year. Los Angeles have won 12 of his 20 games this year. The Dodgers gets the win and prevents the sweep.

Chambo is pitching great ball right now he is 6-2 thus far posting a 3.86 era. His last 3 starts have benn almost perfect going 2-0 with an even 3.00 era. Joba has been flawless on the road going 4-0, However, The Yankees have lost all of his starts he failed to get a decision in, leaving the Yankees at a 4-4 record in his home starts. New York has won 13 of his 19 starts this year overall. Matt Garza will go for the Rays. his last start was flawless pitching a complete games giving up 2 earned runs and striking out 9 batters. Garza is 1-1 with a 3.54 era. Tampa has won 2 of his last 3 starts, and 4 of his last 6 starts while giving up 3 runs or less in 5 of those 6 games Garza has started. Garza has lost 5 of his 6 starts against New York, But has faced the Yankees once this year, dispite not getting the decision pitched 5 innings giving up one run on 4 hits. Garza is 1-2 lifetime against New York, but will get the win today.
