Question: RUDY had a tough time handicapping that game, whatis your rationale?

* Tigers are 1-4 in their last 5 after scoring 5 runs or more in their previous game.
* White Sox are 16-5 in Floyds last 21 starts when their opponent scores 5 runs or more in their previous game

* Tigers are 0-9 in their last 9 vs. American League Central.
* White Sox are 12-5 in Floyds last 17 starts vs. American League Central.
* White Sox are 6-0 in Floyds last 6 starts vs. Tigers.
* White Sox are 5-1 in the last 6 meetings vs. Tigers.

* Tigers are 0-6 in their last 6 when their opponent allows 2 runs or less in their previous game.
* White Sox are 7-3 in Floyds last 10 starts after allowing 2 runs or less in their previous game.

* Tigers are 1-4 in Miners last 5 starts as a home favorite of -110 to -150
* Tigers are 4-9 in Miners last 13 starts as a home favorite.
* White Sox are 4-1 in Floyds last 5 starts as an underdog.
* White Sox are 4-1 in Floyds last 5 road starts with the total set at 9.0-10.5
* White Sox are 4-1 in Floyds last 5 road starts vs. a team with a winning record
* White Sox are 17-5 in Floyds last 22 starts with the total set at 9.0-10.5.

* Tigers are 0-4 in their last 4 Monday games. (Which is usually the series opener)

There are some trends for anyone that likes them. I tried to put the common trends together to make it easier to follow. Tigers are 0-9 in their last 9 vs. American League Central Don't they know that those are supposed to be the most important? The Whitesoxs were 5-0 last year against the Tigers when Floyd started. The Soxs dominated the season series going 12-6 against the Tigers, including 5-3 in Detroit. Bobby Jenks has 20 saves in 21 tries against the Tigers, so a 9th inning lead looks real good. Jermaine Dye has hit 14 homers at Comerica Park, second most of any visiting player. The Soxs and Floyd have dominated Detroit, and it will continue today. Chicago outscored Detroit 110-73 last season.

Jermaine Dye continues to smash HR's in Detroit. Dye hit his 300th career homer, then the very next at bat Konerko hit his 300th career homerun. Probably the first time that has happened
