Mookie Betts or Mike Trout

Who would you rather have?
For me Mookie Betts-he does many things just as well as Trout and more importantly unlike Trout has a lot of positive intangible effects on his team.
All of Trout's teams have been mediocre or worse with lots of very good talent.
For me by my criterion a player who is as good as he is talent wise should in some way be able to have some kind of positive effect on the rest of the team-I have not seen this at all, and year after year, no matter what he produces, the team itself flounders.

Again Betts and especially from the neck and shoulders up, ie the intangibles and stuff which can’t be quantified which contributes to such things as team harmony and unity and which in its own way makes the team as a whole larger than the sum of the parts which is shown in team record this season as opposed to the Angels where virtually none of this exists with not much help if any from Trout.

Give it up

You aren't going to convince anybody that Betts is better than Trout.

For me the responses in this so far
thread amounts to the same thing as what it means and what usually happens when too many services agree on the same side on a game. lol

How is this even a real poll ? Like comparing Selena Gomez to Kate Beckinsale.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the overall perception:
Trout 6’2” 235 lb and Hollywood pretty boy looks,
Betts 5’9” and 180 lb. with ok looks but nothing special.
Let’s say I was thinking about another possible obvious difference but decided it would be best not to mention it as a possibility.

This is purportedly a poll/opinion thread you created. Why is it so hard for you to accept others opinions, when you’re the one asking for them?

The Angels on Friday placed Mike Trout on the 10-day disabled list with right wrist inflammation. The move is retroactive to Monday.

I stick to what I say about Betts.
I know a lot of folks think I am crazy to say this but imo it would be in the best interests of the team moving forward to unload both Trout and Scioscia because other than one brief post season appearances in which they got swept the Angels have sucked and disappointed big time with some decent talent in all the years Trout has played for them.
Perhaps Trout might just fit in better overall with some other team and help
to make that new team bigger than the sum
of the parts which is clearly not the case with the Angels.
Imo the same cannot be said about Scioscia who just plain stinks as a manager regardless of what team he would manage.
