For that matter imo fantasy baseball is totally insignificant in any case also.

Than it makes no sense that you reply to a fantasy question. Especially with comments that have zero to do with his question about fantasy baseball.

ok fine-from now on I will confine my comments to baseball and players who play in the REAL world of MLB rather than those who play in The "Twilight Zone League"/The world of imagination.

Stop being a dinosaur savage. Fantasy sports is a multi billion dollar business now. Players make money from it and they play in leagues themselves. Doesn't really matter if you like it or not. It's not going anywhere.

It matters to me; imo prioritized stuff like this along with video games is one of many reasons why our society is headed in the wrong direction.
ps For that matter drug dealing is a multi billion dollar business also.

Your insults, pejorative statements and trying to poison the well are not surprising and indicative of a person who has no respect and/or no any understanding for an opposing point of view, which believe it or not, in this case is philosophical in nature.
Believe it or not some of us think about other matters in life other than sports, gambling//who to wager on that day.

When you compare illegal drug dealers to legal fantasy sports, you truly are fuckin clueless. Call it an insult or whatever you want because it is also a fact.

Sorry if I was not clear but my point was not to say that fantasy sports is in the same class as drug dealing as far as which is worse(obviously there is no comparison), but rather to question/disagree with your assertion/implication that just because fantasy sports and for that matter video games attract billions of dollars, that that in itself means it is a healthy sign for our society.
A few years ago, my wife and I were in the local Mall around closing time, and we noticed this big line outside of GameStop mostly made up of teens.
We were curious as to what was going on, so we went over to the line to find out was going on.
Well we were informed that some new video was going to be sold on the next day, and that they were in line so as not to be shut out on the first day that it went on sale.
We both shook our heads in disbelief.
I hope this clarifies my point about priorities and that for me becoming a multi billion dollar industry proves nothing and in this case by my standards is quite negative.

Savage, adults do the same thing every time a new iPhone comes out. It happens with many things in life and with all ages. It's no different.

Of course they do-that is precisely my point as to where imo we are headed as a society.
ps Not all adults buy a new iPhone-I have one about three years old, it works fine and it still does everything quite well that I purchased it for in the first place.
For me the changes made in the new iPhone are marginal and sure as Hell not worth from $1000 to as much as $1500 to get a new one even though I could easily afford to by one.
Perhaps vanity is one word which describes where our society is at the moment.
