Fewest number of losses in division.

next ten games will answer many questions

Cards for 3

W Sux for 4

at Milwaukee for 3

August, first two series, home, Wash and Az. Then on the road, for 3 with Az

all pitching has been great since break and offense is being led by Contrares, Russell, Baez and Heyward

Bryant and Riz not hitting for average, but Cubs value OB%. Riz .378 and KB .401

Cubs have turned it around the last week and milw coming back down to the pack. Cubs might have seen this thread during the all star break and it motivated them lol. Also helps that they got quintana.

Still saying Toronto. Last time they won a series was against the Yanks start of July, then before that I believe it was sometime in early June against the Mariners. Now getting swept by the Indians.

Cubs SP looks pretty good.

Jake is back
Hendricks is solid
HoSay
Lester/Montgomery

Lackey gonna be pissed

Baez, Heyward, Riz, KB, Willson.Schwarber

Bench solid

cubs turned it around right after the all star break and looks like they will pull away from the pesky brewers . wash has been dealing with key injuries and cubs looking more dangerous.

Washington is the better team if completely healthy. Big if though. Nats missing Werth, Eaton, Harper & Turner from opening day lineup. Cubs have nothing that compares with Scherzer or Strasburg.

With that said MLB playoffs biggest crapshoot of all 4 major sports. Nats probably open something like -150ish with home field in a 5 game series.

PEACE

hahaha

Cubs forgot their hitting shoes somewhere

too many dead spots in iineup making opposing pitchers Cy candidates

Mr Non Clutch, Zobrist, Schwarber, no Russsell and Willson being out

Bears have better chance to make playoffs if Trullsky starts in about week 5

You may be right about your Catcher Bob but I think that is just a BIT biased. I would take Posey, Molina, Sanchez and Perez before your guy. I would slot him 5th and that seems about right to me. And 5th is pretty good.

Starting to think Nats will just be one of those underachieving teams and probably get bounced in the divisional series again.

On paper they should've banked a WS already but probably never will. They'll find a way to lose. Cubs/Dodgers LCS rematch?

PEACE

Jake not ready to go in first two games

Nice that Washington played almost 80 games vs division opponents who combined to go about -80 games under .500
