Most interesting trade deadline deal
With the trade deadline approaching I thought it would be interesting to get feedback on a deal either one your favorite team made or simply I deal that you found interesting/baffling.
One deal I found was a 12 player deal between the Friars and the Stros.The Astros received the following players: Derek Bell, Doug Brocail, Ricky Gutierrez, Pedro Martinez (but not THE Pedro Martinez), Phil Plantier and Craig Shipley.
The Padres received, in return: Andujar Cedeno, Ken Caminiti, Steve Finley, Roberto Petagine, Brian Williams and Sean Fesh.
Some interesting names in the deal plus the fact that a majority of the players returned to their original teams either through free agency or trades in the following couple of years.
Any other trades that stuck out to anyone?
