So I took her to Oakland.

Just a joke guys and no offense to anyone in Oakland, but it is the worst city in America. I've been to a lot of bad places in my life, the near west side of Chicago, Cabrini Green and the Robert Taylor Homes, Gary Indiana, near Hollywood Park in LA, card rooms in Bankok and the back streets of Calcutta, but I never felt I was in as dangerious a place as I felt one late late night in Oakland after a Bronco game there. You know when people are sizing you up for a mugging and I felt it about 4 times in one night there. It's a horrible place but it won't be for the Chicago White Sox (+100) tonight. They win this ballgame, and probably by more that 1 run if you like betting the spread.

Because of the circles I used to travel in people have tried to mug me a few times, and it's always starts the same way with a "Sir, can you spare some change?" If it's night time, and i'm in a bad nieghborhood, and 5 blacks guy come up with that...I pull out the ppk and get out of there as fast as I can. I did'nt have a gun that night in Oakland and I feel that we were lucky to come back from that Bronco game alive- Oakland is that bad. Maybe not as bad as the Robert Taylor homes were, but it's bad at night- Don't ever go there kids
