My thoughts on the Padres

I have heard from various color commentators, analyst, and whoever else talks baseball that these Padres are going to have a losing record in September. They play 30 games in 31 days. Starting September 3rd, they play a really tough stretch of games starting with the Rockies, then it goes Dodgers, Giants, Rockies, Cardinals, Dodgers, Reds, and finishing a 4-gamer with the Cubs. What if... we chased the Padres to lose, how can they hit another big winning streak during this stretch? The odds are stacked against them, still! I do not chase at all because I know what can happen on a losing streak, but this opportunity stands out to me. They have not lost more than 3 games in a row all year, my prediction is that they will have their first long losing streak on the road trip starting in Colorado and ending in San Fransisco. Maybe fading them would be the answer instead of chasing, I know how it is looked down upon, believe me, you do not need to tell me.

Yeah they may lose 4 in a row today, but your right, they have Arizona next, they may not hit a long losing streak, but say like a 10-20 record?

I've been chasing them for the past three games. So very sad.
