New Week Means New Winning Streak Starts TODAY !!!

well, after losing my last 3 posted plays (making me 13-4-1 for my last 18 posted plays), I took the day off yesterday. I'm ready to start the new week with a new winning streak. Here goes.

For Monday, I like the Nationals at home, -120 over the brewers. The Nats took 2 of 3 from the Cubs, while the Brewers lost 2 of 3 to the Pirates. For the Nats, Tony Armas makes his second start of the year. Armas is a good pitcher ! He lost his only start this year, but in his career, he has a 1 and 0 record with an ERA of 1.50 against the Brewers.

For Milwaukee, Doug Davis takes the mound. He has a record of 4 and 4 with an ERA of 4.89. However, on the road, he is 1 and 2 with an ERA of 6.46, having pitched 15.1 innings and given up 13 hits, 11 walks and 11 earned runs. The Nats are gonna take it Doug Davis tonight.

Good luck if you play it.

alright guys--leaving work now (only 1/2 a day today--LOL). Everytime I play the Nats I'm reminded of that Honeymooners episode where Norton is doing a crossword puzzle (at least I'm pretty sure it was Norton), and he asks for a 3 letter word for a bug. Ralph says NAT (meaning a gnat), and Alice comes in to correct him. At that point, Norton says that he has to go with Ralph on that one because he works with a guy down in the sewers named Nat "and he don't spell it with a 'G' " Classic.

Anyway, let's go NATS !!!

Big Nats fan myself Keith but I'm agin ya tonight. Gotta take the brews. Been watching your record, and not a bad one I might add, but the way I see it the Brews should win by 1. This is just a hunch mind you and just one mans opinion but the mils have been playing a little sloppy lately and the nats have won their last 2. I have found that if you been reading my headline, "Gunslinger's Who Know's means who the hell knows and that nothing in this sport is solid. Been knocked down too many times going on what I thought was a damn sure thing, but this game can be won by anybody. Maybe its the weather, the beer they drink before the game, or crack, or the way the stars are lined up, the game is in the air for anybody to win and nothing I mean nothing in this sport is a gimme. Too many variances involved. The Brews may get their butts handed to um but the way I been seeing it, I dont think so. In any event dont let your failures go to your heart. You got something good going and stay with it. Your sure winning alot more than your losing and thats the best you can hope for in any sport. GL in the future Gunslinger.

thanks gunslinger--if there is one thing I know about baseball, is that anything can happen. THAT is why I will almost never lay 2 to 1 (or more) on a baseball team. I wish you luck in all your plays--except the Brewers tonight.
