Nolan Ryan

One man's opinion...............

As a baseball card collecter years ago, one of my favorite players was Nolan Ryan. I still find myself rooting for the guy. Here's hoping the Texas Rangers' pitcher turned president can bring home the franchise's first World Series title with four wins over the St. Louis Cardinals. It's tough not to be a fan. After all, he took a chance on once troubled outfielder Josh Hamilton, whose career has finally blossomed with Texas. And the flame throwing Ryan had one of the best nicknames in baseball--"The Ryan Express", and taught new White Sox skipper Robin Ventura a lesson or two with that notorious headlock.

Nothing against the Cards but i will be pullingt for Texas.

Got to love Nolan. A very like able guy that has done an incredible job with this franchise along with John Daniels.

Texas has one of the top 3 minor league systems in MLB right now. This organization is loaded right now.

This might sound a little gay but I hope that kid whose dad fell to his death has front row seats and becomes a big part of a Texas win. And please leave bush out of the picture every time Nolan is on camera...
