The NY Yankee Captain is "ALL CLASS"

Being a NY Yankee fan for the past 41 years and seeing many great players come and go thru the Bronx, Derek Jeter in my opinion stands tall above the rest. For the next 3-4 years I will treasure my visits to the "Stadium" and seeing #2 playing shortstop and scoring runs.

Derek Jeter is a Champion and not just on the basball diamond. It's just a matter of time before #2 has his name called for the Hall Of Fame. I'm blessed truely to see DJ play at Yankee Stadium many, many times.

2011 will be a Championship Season !

all excpet for being mad about getting a 3 yr / $51m contract at his age...
IDIOT!

if he goes on the market, he gets $6M/yr tops.... that being said I wouldn't want him for that kind of money now.

Dude is class I agree - except for his ego.

Windy, Jeter been playing for 16 years and last season was his first off year ! He does rebound this coming year with and avg. of 305, 19 homeruns and around 85 rbi's and of course his gold glove and title #28 !
