Official MLB Road System 2010

MLB ROAD SYSTEM 2010

Many of you are familiar with this sytem already. It is a 6 game chase system and I recommend you have at least 200 units in your bankroll to play it. You WILL have chases go to game six and you WILL be playing more than 50 units on one game.

This sytem is not for the faint of heart. Two years ago, in 2008, Oakland’s first series went to game six and through the first five games, I had lost 130 units. I didn’t have enough to play that game six (would have taken another 150 units), so I considered it a loss. Oakland lost game six meaning the series still won in this system, but that one series broke most of the people who were planning on following it. If you are planning on playing this, you must realize something like that is possible.

Here are the results over the past couple years. I quickly calculated 2008 & 2009 because I didn’t play it full out in either of those years, so if I missed a loss somewhere, please let me know and I will update the records.

2006
432-2, +320 units

2007
323-3, +98 units

2008
376-3, +188 units

2009
358-4, +61 units

It seems like there is a loss every year in September. So it may be a good idea to stop at the end of August.

Now, when ryhenry ran this system, he would base the plays on the past 5 years of research. I am taking a different approach. Does it really matter that the Mets weren’t a good play to lose on the road five years ago? That is a much different Mets team out there this year. So I have based all my plays on the past season. In other words, if you had made these exact same plays last year, you wouldn’t have suffered a single loss.

Hopefully by taking that approach, we can limit the losses to 1 or 2 series and it will be a profitable season.

Arizona - Loss/Under
Baltimore - Loss
Boston - Loss
Chicago Cubs - Loss/Under
Chicago WSox - Loss/Under
Cincinnati - Loss/Under
Cleveland - Loss/Over
Colorado - Under
Detroit - Loss/Under
Florida - Under
Houston - Loss/Under
Kansas City - Loss/Under
LA Dodgers - Loss/Under
Milwaukee - Loss
Minnesota - Loss/Under
New York Mets - Loss
NY Yankees - Win/Over
Oakland - Loss/Under
Philadelphia - Win/Under
Pittsburgh - Loss
Seattle - Loss/Under
San Diego - Loss
San Francisco - Loss
St. Louis - Under
Tampa Bay - Loss/Under
Texas - Loss/Over
Toronto - Loss/Under
Washington - Loss

NO PLAY - Angels/ Braves

Please note that you do not have to play what I have listed above. You can play whatever you like, but that is what I will be playing. If you don’t like one of the above plays, let me know why. You may even change my mind.

The spreadsheet does have a tutorial. All you need to do is enter your unit size on the MAIN sheet and then use each individual team sheet to track all the wins/losses. I recommend a fairly small unit size...you may need to put 100 units (or more) on a single game so even with a unit of $10, that bet suddenly becomes over $1,000.

Let me know if you have any questions or find any errors and I can get them fixed before the season starts. It was created in the latest version of excel, so I am not guaranteeing that it works properly or looks good in older excel versions...

So you do all these bets at one time? Every road game these teams play in? This is something similar to what I do, but instead I just stick to the totals.

formula for arizona, boston and colorado has a glitch that i noticed where its not calculating the second bet amount and shows an error.

you guys need to change all the 4's to 5's in this formula:

=IF(L4="L",J4+K4,IF(L4="P",J4,"-"))

its in the second row of the "to win" column on each of these teams

And btw angelus, I remember that oakland series like it was yesterday. The road trip was againts toronto and cleveland, and every game was fairly heavy chalk, I remember them beating C.C. Sabathia and Carmona in the first two games in cleveland, they made two comebacks in toronto in the 9th inning. God that was an ugly series early in the year. I had to ask my bookie to increase my weekly limit online just so I could put the bet in, luckily it paid off otherwise it would've been very expensive.

fellas if you cant start with at least 150 units, i wouldnt even bother with the system. You have to have a thick skin and chase your 10-20-50 bet whatever it is and bet more then a thousand depending on your unit size just to get that initial stake.

If you have the discipline, as you can see its very profitable.

if I counted correctly we will have a chance to pick up a grand total of 461 units this year, the most plays in the last 5 years.

Lucky chasing everyone!!!! Let's all win some money together here!

Thanks for doing this Angelus. One quick question, are we playing re-starts as well? What I mean is, after a series win, if there are still 6 or more road games to go, we re-start it. I think back in the day Ryhenry advocated doing re-starts as well but I'm not sure, I know that some guys have in the past.

Thx and lets win some money this year!

You can definitely play any way that you want, but personally, I don't like the idea of restarts. It seems way too greedy. I will not be playing restarts and the spreadsheet is only set up for a max of 6 games.

Is this compatible with Arbor 12 systems or will there be conflicts?
