this team is one to seriously consider betting every night

Buck is a great motivator and baseball mind, I could listen to him and Kurkjan talk bases all day

tons of value in the O's from hate on out.

too bad their pitching sucks Seanie. I think the value in O's games from here on out is in playing the over.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Agree it's a great hire for The orioles, but why would Showalter possibly be willing to take this job? This is as dead end as it gets IMO, small market team playing in a division with the biggest big market powerhouses not to mention the best non-big market team in TB, hasn't won forever and gives no indication of winning anytime soon (as in within the next half century or so.)

How much are they paying him? Guess he must have just been desperate for another manager job, but I'm amazed he didn't hold out for a better one, i.e. mets with Jerry Manuel's days obviously being numbered...that is a team you can win with and win right away IMO.

Buck loves baseball and coaching that's why he took it. He will have a lot of say in the growth of this team. He said he doesn't like walking into an easy coaching job

Well he certainly won't have to worry about that with the orioles lol. Challenging jobs with low expectations are one thing though, Balty on the other hand is just dead end hopeless.

And I can't stop thinking what a perfect fit the mets would have been for him, having managed the yankees he knows how to handle New York, and it would have been a lot more interesting to have him managing in the NY spotlight with a team that does have a lot of talent, too bad it won't happen.
