Pittsburgh trades Jack Wilson and Ian Snell to Seattle

For Ronny Cedeno and 4 minor leaguers

Great time to be a Pittsburgh fan

Lot of rumbling on this heard as well. The way he's throwing right now, gladly take 'em as long as not too steep of price. But since Seattle just robbed Pitt, might be coming from a more generous negotiating vantage point.

Great pickup for Twins if they pull it off. Sad state of affairs in Pitt if freddy goes too. Wow. A shame for the fans. Are there any left??

One of the guys Pittsburgh acquired is C Jeff Clement who was a high draft choice for them

Funny thing is one of the only guys Pittsburgh has left is Ryan Doumit who of course is a catcher

Unless they plan to move Clement to a new position

Clement is from Marshalltown, Iowa and was a pretty decent athlete so I'm sure they could play him at first base, but I don't think he could pull off RF. Set a national record for HRs in high school. Kid was ridiculous until he had to use a wooden bat.
