Play for Thursday !!
First the re-cap. Won with the Orioles first 5 and game yesterday bringing my record to 2-0 +1* since my return from vacation and 8-1-2 for my last 11 plays posted for a total of +6.35*. Also hit my lean yesterday with Tampa/LAA under 8 but didn't include it in the record.
For today I like the Colorado Rockies -1.5 +105. Here's why: The Nationals start John Lannan in this game. For his career he is 0-1 with a 7.41 era in 17 innings and 3 career starts against the Rockies. The rockies are hitting a whopping .329 off of him and a WHIP of 1.76 !! The Rockies are 2nd best in the NL with a .277 BA against lefties this season. In addition to this, Lannan has been getting shelled lately with 6 earned runs in his last start and in his first start against the Rockies this year he gave up 11 hits in just 6 innings. The Nationals would be better off starting John Lennon in this game !!The Rockies go with their newest up and coming stud Jhoulys Chacin. He is straight dealing right now after going 7 innings in each of his last two starts with 0 earned runs and a total of just 7 hits. Teams are hitting just .132 against him and his WHIP of .76 is off the charts. He has never faced the Nationals but they are a light hitting lineup and he should dominate them after doing so to a much better Dodger team the last time out. But wait ! How about the fact that the Rockies swept the Nationals last year at home and are 11-3 against them at home since the 2006 season. This has a 7-2 game written all over it guys. Thursday's Play is the Colorado Rockies -1.5 +105 |

Who are you? Seal? Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man? Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright? |
