Players diving to make catches......
Does it get on anyone's elses nerves, when a player dives to make a catch, when in reality the dive is actually not really needed.
Case and point, they have shown Gomez's catch for the Brewers today about 20 times on my espn. He barely even needed to dive lol. In other examples the dive can actually sometimes, reduce their chance of making the catch. Just think sometimes its over played.

The only nice dives are the ones where a player has to fully extend his body to catch a ball. That to me is worthy of a highlight reel.

any baseball player knows when it's a good catch... I can promise you when he gets back to the dugout he is catching all kinds of S for diving unnecessarily or awkwardly...
so yes, it does.
