You think he was really throwing at him in that situation? Obv Ranger fan here... didn't really make sense at that point in a game. Have they been throwing at each other in the series? I haven't really noticed too much reaction to them...

hmmmh... then I guess the home plate ump was right warning him. I was actually watching the game on WGN instead of the local broadcast b/c it was in HD and the local wasn't. The Soz announcers were so pissed about the ump warning them... Man, they were BIG homers... was kind of funny. I wish I new what my local guys were saying about it.

That would something great for a website to have - the audio from both announcers to see how things are viewed from each homer's perspective... Hey, that's my new get rich scheme... lol...

I guess I've been just too out of it (pain killers) to notice any real intent - I know there've been hit batsmen, but I don't think I ever saw anyone really get pissed about it. I saw our catcher get hit, and he didn't so much as glance at the pitcher...

I'd like to hear what they have to say now since Jenks said what he said. I was a pitcher, and I don't care how wild you are, it NEVER goes behind the batter unless you're throwing at a guy. We had a sign for this (from the catcher via the coach). I got it once and was so excited, I threw behind the guy. I had great conrtol and could put it anywhere I wanted - except that time. I've hit a guy on my own accord no problem two times (once for trying to steal my catcher's sign to me - I walked off the mound and told him to stop, and then went back to pitch - ump didn't say a word then. When I did hit the guy the other team complaine - ump said he told you... Other time guys was talking S and I didn't like him to begin with.

I digress... look forward to watching today's...
