Red Sox Players = HUGE TIPPER$!

Red Sox left insane tip after World Series celebration in LA

The Boston Red Sox have gladly spent hundreds of thousands ó if not millions ó of dollars celebrating their 2018 World Series championship, and it sounds like they have been mighty generous while doing so.

TMZ reported earlier in the week that the Red Sox bought roughly $300,000 worth of booze while partying at a nightclub in Los Angeles after they defeated the Dodgers in Game 5 of the World Series Sunday night. The gossip site has since viewed a copy of the actual bill, and the tip the team left is more impressive than the tab itself.

According to the itemized receipt, the Red Sox ordered more than 150 bottles of high-end champagne and 30-plus bottles of hard alcohol. The bill added up to around $300K with taxes and fees, and the team left a whopping $195,000 tip.

The Red Sox spent about the same amount at a Boston nightclub when they returned home on Tuesday, so itís probably safe to assume they left a massive tip then, too.

All in all, thatís a small price to pay after one of the most successful franchises in sports adds another championship trophy to its case. We thought the Golden State Warriors went crazy with the spending after their latest title, but the Red Sox may have outdone them.

You mean after the big celebration in the clubhouse after they won, they immediately went to a nightclub and blew half a million dollars celebrating some more? WOW!!!
I don't know anything about the hours of operation nightclubs in LA, but I assume that the team must have partied all night and into the early morning
Does anyone know the actual details of this venture?

I was told by a friend that the club they partied at was Nightingale. A serious hot spot in West Hollywood! They had a police escort to the club. I was told that Betts, Sale, JD and Holt were there, other than that, I do not know who else partied their balls off.

I can tell you the club is located on North La Cienega Blvd in L.A. The cover charge is $50.

According to my calculations if the $300K was only the champagne and not the hard alcohol, it would have amounted t0 $2000 a bottle!!! lol

All I know savage is that whatever club (a great club mind you) you party at in LA, the cheapest bottle of wine and or champagne is 5X the amount if you bought it at your local liquor store and or market. That's no joke. They know they can hike the prices up for any item you desire because they know that the celebs and or athletes will spend that kind of $$. I guess you could say it goes with the territory.

BNB-The only sure thing is that if I was that wealthy, I still wouldn't pay 5X the price of what anything in the world is worth.
I was brought up and raised with certain principles and values-those will never change no matter what the circumstances.
Its their money though and they obviously can and will do what they want with it.
ps Just think of all the good things the Sox could have done with the money for charity with all of that money spent.
