((( Right Back For Monday~~ Blue Jays Vs Yankees Early Game Write Up )))

TORONTO BLUE JAYS VS. NEW YORK YANKEES

handicapping this early game troubled me at first but when i looked at the pitching matchup this romero kid has defeated some pretty big names since he came off the 30 day back in may.... those 2 starts in may were still rehab starts if you ask me......

starting in june he beat zach grienke, lost 1-0 to kevin millwood , beat cole hamels twice and beat imo washingtons best pitcher shawn martis...

he opened july with 8 innings of 4 hit ball in the shutout of tampa bay in his last start.

now we know how tampa bays offense has been after watching last nights game..... in romero's kansas city win his offense were nailling an off night grienke .... philly was in a hitting slump during both of his wins as both games were low scoring games till torontos offense hit the bullpen..... washington well is washington..... in this time span he has dropped his era from 4.10 to 2.85

ROOKIEES FINAL THOUGHT:

as much as romeros stats show how good of a pitcher he has been , he has been the benifit of being in the right start in the right time....its also good when a team hits for you when your on the mound.... romero gets 4.6 runs

but these yankees despite not a single hitter taking an ab against him will hit this kid.... the yankees have already displayed their offense in this series, scoring 20 in the first 3 games and averaging 6 runs per a game in these past 6 home games in which they are 5-1.... not to mention they are 10-1 their last 11 scoring 7.3 rpg........ run support is always there for pettite

its tough to sweep a 4 game series but the yanks are clicking at the plate... its going to be hard for romero to pitch in an hostile environment when a sweep is possible...the fans will be in this one big time if you know ny fans looking for a sweep.... and where romero is hittable is from the left side as opponent left hand hitters bat .308 and the yankees lineup is stacked...

not to take anything away from the kid but he is in a tough spot here with a lot to prove... his blue jay teamates will swing the bat in this game, but i think the yankees lineup being at home looking for a division sweep and there 2ND rare 4 game sweep this year will be enough to win it here and send the jays out of here saying ....WOW!!!!!

YANKEES 7 BLUE JAYS 5

7***** YANKEES -151
4*** OVER 9.5 -105
2*** YANKEES -1.5 +135

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR PLAYS TODAY

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?
