Ripper MLB Card Saturday 4/2

Nice Start to the season last night 2-0 +3 units

Today's Games:

St Louis Cardinals -127 2*

Even with Holliday out, the Cards are a good price here at home. Clayton Richard is nothing special (especially on the road) and I can promise you Pujols won't go 0-5 3 GIDP again. If he comes through on any of those AB's last game the Cards beat SD in game 1 of the series.

Don't see the Cards dropping the first two at home either. Jake Westbrook is not a shut em down kind of pitcher (usually) but SD proves to be an easier lineup to handle as a pitcher than most (usually). Taking the home team with the better lineup in this one. But if it comes down to bullpens again, SD has the HUGE advantage.

Also making a small play on a 1PM EST starting game:

Atlanta Braves -138 1*

Feel like my boys are the better team in all aspects of the game. Washington obviously won't lose every time vs. Atlanta but the Braves have the clear advantage in starting pitching, bullpen and lineup today. It will all depend on how well Tommy Hanson is going today and if the Braves lefties can get some hits off of Lannan.(who in the past has pitched very well at times vs the Braves)

GL everyone

(May also add once these games become final)

Yuck.. bad picks on the early games 0-2

what the hell has happened to STL? they have an awful bullpen and no pitching really other than Carpenter (who isn't as good as he once was)

may be in for a disappointing season (and offseason & years to come if Albert walks)

Gonna chase a lil' like the total of Boston/Texas to go over 9.5

1* play
