Minny had so many key injuries that they were legit in winning, but I too thought Tex deserved the award in their very very weak AL West.

meaningless dumb award but its a joke he didnt win it, rangers projected to finish .500 and end up winning pennant

basically lost because gardenhire had been bridesmade but not bride for 5 years
