Total ****en bullshit that Porcello or Niemann didnt win in the AL or Hanson in the NL.

Im a big fan of Coghlan and Bailey but I dont think they shouldve been the winners....if anything the award is a curse.

Coghlan was deserving but are you telling me that he was more deserving than Tommy Hanson? Tommy Hanson looked dominant out there while Coghlan was a nice player.

In the AL I thought Porcello and Niemann held up better than Bailey and lets be honest SP is much more demanding and mentally taxing on a rookie than LF or bullpen (Bailey didnt close all season)

PEACE

I wouldn't of been surprised if Hanson won but Chris was steady, clutch & very consistent. He hit leadoff & played out of position for first time too.

National league I agree with, Hanson and Happ had good years no doubt about it but Coghlan was much better in my opinion.

American League is the one that I don't necessarily agree with I think Porcello did a much better job and was in the heat of a division race while doing it throughout the year instead of closing for a last place team.

No bigger Cub fan here, but...

Gordon Beckham got screwed.

He was your AL ROY. Look at the numbers folks. Gotta take this voting away from the writers.

Beckham won Sporting News ROY but comes in 5th with these goofball writers??

his teammate Garret Jones I am not sold on
hits lots of solo shots but, is terrible with people
