Rookie of the Year candidates?

Chapman, Heyward , Strasburg are all names we've heard early this spring but who are the other youngsters that are going to be making an impact that the casual baseball fan may not be aware of?

Of course I'm hoping Heyward wins it for the NL but I'm liking a guy named Aaron Poreda from San Diego. Great stuff and very deceptive. He was the main piece Chicago had to give up to get Jake Peavy last summer. I hope he gets a chance out their in SD.

Also Cameron Maybin of Fl. Has the makings of a 5 tool player, but had some problems with strikeouts. I like him and have him on my watch list for my fanasty team.

A player's rookie status ends with the major league season in which he exceeds a career total of:
130 at-bats, or
45 days on the active, 25-man roster.

however I drafted Latos he has a ton of upside nasty stuff and is having a very good spring....Cameron Maybin has all the tools but he reminds me alot of Lastings Milledge, all I heard was how good Milledge was and he just has not shown anything, I'm gettin the same feeling with Maybin we will see though

What about this leadoff guy for Texas? Can't think of his name, but he sounds like he could be good. Think he's an OF? I'm trying to find his name lol

Also, that Escobar kid for Milwaukee. Starting SS, so he'll get plenty of opportunity to steal the award. Could be a good one.

Yeh, he is my early leader. Like I said earlier in this thread, the kid is fast and hits for avg. And I believe hes batting 2nd. So alot of runs to be scored with the lineup behind him. (Braun and Fielder)
