well my theory in baskets didnt play out as i expected so ill stick to what i do best for right now....
Rockies vs Padres This is another one of those games i love and i have it high on my list to be considered in Exclusive mode... i could easily make another game of the year with this play but i will make it an exclusive play in terms of rank. Ubaldo Jimenez and the Colorado Rockies are my play for this game and i will tell you why.... Jimenez just pitched a monster of a game in his last throwing a complete game 4 hit shutout while striking out 7 against the dodgers in LA on june 1st .... with the inconsistency on the dodger offense, people will forget that prior to that game the dodgers scored 27 runs in the 5 games before.... not to mention the 15 in the 2 games against these rockies in game 1 and 2 before the monster effort by Jiminez in game 3 preventing the sweep. some may look for jiminez to bounce after that performance but imo i will be backing a pitcher who is on his best game at the right time of the year.... you see jiminez is 8-1 in june since 2009 including his last 5 wins and holds a lifetime 3-0 in petco park.... he also has jeff nelson whom he is 2-0 with a lifetime 2.20 era when the nelson man in calling the balls and strikes.... This is such a big difference compared and against SD starter Tim Stauffer who is 0-4 lifetime in june, is 0-3 at home this season, has a career 5-13 record at his own stadium and had lost twice with nelson behind the mound. Grant him that his era is 3.67 in all his home starts and with nelson behind he is 2-2 with a 2.88 era.... yet i have to think that the padres only managed 5 hits, leaving 11 runners on base last night against Clayton Mortenson in 6 innings.... keep in mind this was the same Mortensoon who couldnt last 4 innings against the dodgers in his last start prior without giving up 5 runs.... that date was may 31st the night before jiminez thru his gem.  10***** EXCLUSIVE PLAY~~~ ROCKIES -145other plays 3*** cincy -166 3*** pittsburg +106 3*** blue jays -109 1* red sox -125 1* white sox +107
