going to back the same team i lost with last night with seattle... Hanson has been a monster this year but , im going to stab against him today with the rookiee pineida on the mound....

stat i love tonight is the fact that over hansons career his team is 2-6 with him starting on the mound as a dog, not to mention that in both of his 2 wins as a dog his team needed 5 runs and 9 runs.... with the braves only hitting measly .217 over the last 7 days and .238 for the year i just dont think they will be able to produce against this rookie at home, who has pitched into the 6th inning 14 out of his 15 starts and has gone 7+ in 7 of those starts...you can also throw in the fact that in 7 of his starts this year he has 6 or more strikeouts and an amazing 9 strikeouts in 4 games.... compare that with verlanders 5 games with 9 or more and thats pretty impressive ~~~~

Rookiees final thought:
now the drawback to this game is that this is an easy spot for hanson in his first start of the 15 day disabled list against the powerful offense of the mariners.... He also has paul emmel behind the dish for him who he holds a lifetime 5-1 record with him including the 6/12 start in which was the day the tendinitus put him on the DL..... but the fact remains that this game is in seattle where michael pineda holds a 4-1 record and 1.99 era and opponents are only batting .188 against him there which include the blue jays, yankees , texas , and the rangers.... the fact remains that this is hanson first start back from the shoulder in a spot as a dog where he doesnt do too well unless his team provides runs which only happened as we spoke about earlier 2 times in 8 spots as a dog.... but the real fact to end this write up is that Hanson in his last 4 interleague starts is 1-2 with 20 innings pitched and a whopping 18 runs !!! There may be better games out there today, but im not going to pass this one up..... and neither should you !!!!
