anibel sanchez 1-2 with a 6.91 era career against the cubs and a 0-1 13.5 era in cubbie town .... matt garza 3-1 with a 5.09 career against the marlins

both pitchers have had long rest in between the all star game and todays start ... one would think that should help both pitchers coming into this game...but lets face it both pitchers were gawd awful in their last starts and comparing the compitition sanchez faced (phil/tex) to garza (wash) many will lean to the marlins here.... Yet i feel that sanchez 1.98 whip and his opponents .420 batting ave over his last 3 starts compared to garzas 1.08 and his opponents .278 will be the difference in this game, not to mention that sanchez opponents are batting .336 on the road this year against him while garza at home is at his best with 3 of his 4 wins coming at home sporting a 3.27 era holding opponents to .285 batting average....

its the start of the 2nd half and ive seen more stranger things happen than seeing the cubbies win, but ill take my chances here.
