((((( rookieees big ballsy underdog game of the year )))))

Well mallers this will be my last play for baseball this season... Ive been waiting for this series since late july and things have just lined up perfectly....we cashed last night with the +170 doggie and tonight we will go right back with the same doggie as my goy play~~ the arizona diamondbacks.....it is a ballsy pick but with all the transactions these dodgers ( questionable ones )have made in the past days and the rear view mirror looking of the giants and rockies has caused something to change out in los angeles.... This on top of the big wild fires that threaten players and families homes in the surrounding area.....

We are in the same situation as last night as yuso petit hasnt got out of the 5 inning in 3 starts against these dodgers dating back to last season... He also has been defeated twice by the dodgers this year ... Ill give him the benifit of the doubt as his opening start ,the dodgers lit him for 7 runs in 4 innings of work.... But both starts against these dodgers he has pulled 10 strikeouts in 9 innings of work.... He is a completely different pitcher on the road this year as his last 7 starts away from zona is 3.08 era in 38 innings with 28 strikeouts and a whip below 1.20.... His past 2 starts both on the road against houston and the giants combined ~~ 12 innings pitched , 8 hits , 1 earned run , 9 k's

but the real reason to this play is the dodgers newly aquired pitcher vince padilla.... Like i have mentioned before earlier this season about vincent padilla, he is one of my pitchers i follow closely due to the high % of winning playing for him and against him.... His fastball is one of those straight down the pipe that doesnt have much movement at all... Not to mention he throws a lot of them up in the zone trying to work the inside of the plate.... His succeess comes when his off speed stuff is working, but from what ive seen from the last few starts in texas and his recent start in colorado its not really working for him..... In 19 starts this year he has gone into the 7th inning just 7 times .... His last 9 starts just 2 times..... I really think that his shoulder and arm is hurting him again that put him on the sidelines in mid may as the hrs are piling up which shows arm fatigue... His first 13 starts he had only given up 5 hrs but in his last 6 starts he has given up 7.... Something is wrong definately... Why else would texas release him while in contention???

This all spells trouble as arizona is playing the spoiler right now... They have won 5 straight and over their last 7 games they are batting .285 having scored a mlb leading 50 runs.... For comparison look at these numbers for the month of august

batting ave. ~ ari .273 , lad .264
home runs ~ ari 36 , lad 32
runs scored ~ ari 144 , lad 131
total bases ~ ari 461 , lad 420

rookieees final thought:

i seriously dont know the thinking of the dodgers these past few week...imo i dont think that vincent padilla is really 31 years old...those nicaruaguans are something else..... Maybe the dodgers are thinking that he is another fernando valenzuela... Maybe they really are trying to bolster thier starting staff..... But if he was then what is the reason of the signing of garland.... Ill tell you ... Its panic!!! And the dodgers should be panicking as they have scored 6 runs in 2 games but all but 1 of them on solo hrs....they also have lost 4 out of their last 5 home series... If you call a series win over the cubs special then you have problems too......

Just one more tidbit before i post this.... The dodgers used kuo , sherrill , broxton , and mcdonald last night....... I would think kuo and broxton might be available for tonight due to the limited pitches and the shelling of sherril and mc-d...but those left for relief for these dodgers tonight:

jeff weaver ~ era 3.57 / whip 1.49 / 7 hrs
guillermo mota ~ era 3.34 / 6 hrs
ron belisario ~ best available / 3 hrs
ramon troncoso ~ 1 day rest

for those of you that are a little gun shy play safe

arizona +1.5 (-120)

BUT FOR THOSE BALLSY TYPES OUT THERE WILLING TO TAKE THE CHANCE... YOU CAN EXPECT ANOTHER SHORT OUTING BY THE 40 YEAR OLD VINCENT PADILLA TONIGHT, YOU CAN EXPECT ANOTHER WIN FOR THE DIAMONDBACKS , AND YOU CAN EXPECT US TO CASH MY UNDERDOG GAME OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!

THE BEST OF LUCK MALLERS !!!!!!

ARIZONA D-BACKS +180

IF YOU ARE FEELING A LITTLE FROGGY THE MINUS LINE ON ARIZONA IS PRETTY SWEET !!!!

are you not worried about who the dbacks have on the mound??? petit has been pitching half decent lately but he still has terrible numbers vs the dodgers...they lit him up early august as well. in addition, dont look for torre to be resting furcal hudson loney tonight. he did that last night.

good luck on your play however!

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Arizona needs to get as many hits to left field tonight as possible. Manny Ramirez can't play worth shit in the field. They have a good chance tonight, Petit has been solid a t times lately. Good luck.
