Went 1-2 yesterday for my return ... my big plays are 1-1 this year and i got a good one tonight

ANGELS VS ATHLETICS

since the injury to hippity hop kendry morales, the angels have run off 8 wins in 9 games ... Are they still being considered to fall back a little due to this injury??? I think they have made their statement to the public that they arent going to lay down to texas or anyone...

The athletics had to go thru a 10 game east road trip before coming home to lose 2out of 3 (1-run games) to the twins .... I expected them to come out flat yesterday against kazmir and they did just that....

my big play is on the over 8 runs in this game

first of all, let me explain that over the last 3yrs the angels have dominated the athletics in oakland (14-5) and are currently on a 5-2 advantage straight up this season, winning their last 4... The athletics being 1.5 games back really need to show something in this series as interleague play starts back up this weekend ... Especially when your on the road against their crosstown rivals ~ sf giants then to the windy city and then st. Louis... Yeah i think they will be ready to play...

To further this play , both the angels and a's are hitting the ball well in this month of june ... Each teams stat with their respectively mlb rank

as you can see both teams are offensively sound... But heres a few more player tidbits for those of you that are looking for a side....


Angels top june hitters: Matsui .481 ~ ayabar .375 ~ hunter .357 (combined 4hr, 19rbis, 55 total bases)

wheres bobby abreu??? Hasnt shown up in june .193 but is batting .393 with 3hrs , 6 rbis and 23 total bases against the a's in 7 games this season

a's top june hitters : Sweeney .400 ~ kouzmanoff .400 ~ suzuki .323 ( combined 6hr, 14 rbis, 57 total bases)

*** note that these 3players are 16-69 (.232) with 1 hr and 6 rbis which is why this over play isnt in that game of month kind of category ... I just feel that with the way both teams are playing and whats on the line for the a's here will pretty much bring this home... Not to mention the pitchers for this game.

Pitching for the angels is jered weaver who is lifetime 3-3 against the a's with a 2.61 era and a whip of 1.09.... He has given up an average of only 5.25 hits per a game this season but his team is only 3-4 in his last 7 starts (2-3 on the road)with 2 wins over seattle and kc in his last start... For situation players if there ever was a time to doubt weaver, it is when he is on the road at night... Over the last 3 years he has a 4.5 era on the road and a 4.36 during the night...both his highest

for the athletics they throw vin mazzaro.... This kid was expected to be part of the rotation and build off 2009... If you remember this kid started 2009 in june quite well and was looked to make a fix to the rotation, but a horrible july in which his era shot up a full 2 points brought those big dreams to an end.... He came back nicely in august but didnt make the team early this season and was sent to the minors... They recalled him back up for the bullpen but is back in action tonight.... I personally liked this kid when he came on the scene but his control to get behind in the count always seems to hurt him and with the unpredictable starts he has had i cant say he will be ready against a team like the angels as well as they are hitting... i cant find him not giving up some runs in this one no matter how good the a's pitching staff is.

The over is the play in this one fellas as both teams will hit the ball .... There is too much value with everything i mentioned in this write but if i had to lean a side, i would take the a's money line in a high scoring close game ~~~ like 6-5 or 7-6
