Well its been a solid week all around for the rook.... If not for a couple bad beats ( including philly today ) it wouldve been a monster one...nevertheless im standing tall on an 18-5 run over my last 23 plays raising the season past 40 units ....my exclusive plays have been carrying me all season long including 3 this week i got one more win to cash and close out the week, but before i get to my play i want to wish all you fathers out there a blessed day.... The man upstairs knows we need this one day for us for all the things we go thru on a daily basis whether good or bad ~~

Brew Crew vs The Rocks

i am going to ride the brewers here as i find myself looking at 2 pitchers who are going in opposite directions.... Aaron cook only lasted 3 1/3 with 69 pitches in his last start... Grant it he got hit, they were only down 5-2...so to take him out the game baffles me.... But if u look a little deeper the players in that game and the previous 2 have been making contact quite often for strikes...basically he isnt fooling nobody....throw in the fact that he hasnt won a game since april 24th and this pitcher is not even close to being in good form.

The brewers randy wolf is coming off his best performance ~ a 7 inning 3 hit game in which he threw 97 pitches, 59 of them for strikes... What amazes me for this start is that this was against the angels who are around the top 5 in almost offensive catagory for the month of june... Now i was a little curious what went wrong for the angels that day especially after randy was rocked for 8 earned runs in the prior start before that game....i was shocked to find out that out of those 59 strikes the angels watched 25 of them without taking a swing.... Which leads me to 2 conclusions.... 1 they were taking pitches or 2 randys stuff was just plain nasty...i am thinking it was more the latter due to the fact that there is not one game he has started where he comes close to the amount of pitches not swung at and called for strikes..... I just feel in my gut he is ready for another big game off that one in which he gets an additional day of rest leading up to this..... For this price and the chance to build the moral for these brewers heading into the all star break where they are home for 16 of the next 20 games.... Ill take my chances here with the live dog and so should you ...
