today im going to post after a 10 day break from posting

im rolling with the d-backs todays with daniel hudson on the mound... despite his recent appearances against these royals holding a 10.13 era in 5 innings, i have to back him here today for a couple of reasons.

1) this was the first year he has started interleague games and has gone 2-0 for a 1.59 era against the twins and white sox... in those games he has posted a combined 17 innings ( complete game last) and only 3 earned runs ~ both wins.
2) his team has won 8 out of his last 10 starts and that is where he has his 8 wins this season ~ in his last 10 starts
3) Hudson is just pitching well going in his last 3 starts 22 innings, striking out 19, giving up 4.2 hits per 9, 3 earned runs, 1.23 era /0.86 whip

Rookiees final thought:
Hudson is probably one of the hottest pitchers right now, but the only reason this isnt a bigger play is the fact that arizona has never swept this series in 10 years which IMO is the reason for the low number..... but the struggles of kansas city , losers of 6 of last 7 should continue with one of the horrible starters of alltime with his 6-25 career record.... i will play this just on that fact but i will warn each of ya that this umpire cory blasser doesnt like either of these teams as neither has had a win with him behind the dish, but he has a tendency to lean to the better pitcher in his appearances. With a first time sweep on the minds of both these d-backs and royals, i think that i will back the better pitcher and the team that has a lot going in their favor despite the line drop.

Th other game i just have a sneaky feeling with it being a Thursday night espn flip that we are going to be seeing some offensive power with runs from both sides dugouts... all this talk already about the cardinals offense going in shambles will be talked once again tonight, but IMO just a lot of blah blah blah.... i will lean STL as well tonight
