the padres came into this series looking to get 2 out of 3 and have already lost the first 2 .... They will play to win this one as they have houston on deck and wash behind ~ which can only further their lead.... The dodgers having winning 2 from sf are starting to heat up again and colorado plays sf next... So this is a must win game for the padres from a division look....

Clayton richard is in his 3rd start against these rocks and had a great outing in his last start prior to this one against the marlins at their house ~ who have beaten the mets 2 in a row.... Not only did his team lose both of those games to the rockies , his team also has lost his last 3 out of 4 home starts.... I look for him and his team to rebound from those stats.... Not to mention that his umpire marvin hudson last 5 out 7 games called were won by the home team
