Don't know, Dontrelle looked good against this same Royals team in KC.

i think there is no value on the tigers right now. outside of cabrera and mags, this teams offense is putrid and willis is exactly favourite material.

only play on the royals i think if you had to make a bet.

Tigers are leading the AL in hitting, and are second in runs scored...

i know and im sure if they lead the AL hitting, they will probably be top 3 in runs scored as well. kinda like saying a team has the best ERA and is top 2 in runs allowed.

it is only the first week of the season, the blue jays are in first. will this trend hold, probably not.

when i look at the tigers lineup, i dont see a good hitting lineup. i do like austin jackson in the leadoff spot but that lineup from guillen to the bottom stinks IMO. inge can go off once in a while, but i dont believe this team is an offensive juggernaut and dontrelle willis has not been great in a while. i dont think they deserve to be that much of a favourite.

value on the royals today, like yesterday, if you cashed in yesterday I wouldnt push today

my line for today is KC -112

but the royals likely wont the series, they find ways to lose games

IMO the Royals offense looks a lot worse than the Tigers offense. I agree with you that the Tigers won't win the division, but I have a hard time thinking the Royals will win this series.

Yeah... just going by the stats so far, the Tigers are scoring runs to start the year, so to call their offense putrid at the same time is totally inaccurate IMO, and this is a discussion thread about the Tigers game today... so I just wanted to point it out to others reading the thread. No worries. And yeah... I doubt my Jays stick around in first all year! ha! GL man!

not playing the game for anything big..played the royals yesterday...i am a jays fan as well lol and i hope they do well.

i understand your point, but my overall point was just that there is no value in the tigers today at that price. maybe if verlander was pitching and he was actually on his game, but this is dontrelle willis and bannister also did pitch well in his first start.

just saying if there is a play, it is royals, just from a value prospective.

I can't really see the Royals sweeping this series, they won yesterday, so wouldn't the lean be towards the Tigers today considering what the odds would be for the Royals to sweep this series? If the Tigers won yesterday, I would think about the Royals today. Maybe do a little chasing... if the Tigers lose today then add what you lost with what you should have won, and bet that tomorrow.
