Rudy NYC Sports Matinee Plays -04/10/10 (16-1 MLB)

5-0 +10.08 units - yesterday
16-1 +33.76 units - 2010 MLB Season to date
------------------------------------------------------

Matinee Games:

952 Saturday, 4/10/2010 Cincinnati Reds (-115) 2 units
1:10pm EST Cincinnati Reds

953 Saturday, 4/10/2010 Washington Nationals Over 9.0 2 units
1:10pm EST New York Mets

971 Saturday, 4/10/2010 New York Yankees Over 9.0 2 units
3:10pm EST Tampa Bay Rays

974 Saturday, 4/10/2010 Seattle Mariners Under 8.5 2 units
3:10pm EST Texas Rangers

- We have all seen Zambrano pitch like garbage before and we have all seen it takes weeks for him to turn it around. He will show only slight improvement today against the pesky Reds who seem to always Harang around.

- If O Perez pitched for any other GM, he would be not be pitching in the Bigs. Lannan's first out was awful and his spring was bad as well, translates to a decent pitcher needing work. Throw in the Mets' "straw that stirs the drink" Reyes and you have a high scoring game.

- Wade Davis just had a pitiful spring; why is he a starter? CC always starts out slow. These two teams have a history of scoring against one another.

- We believe Felix Hernandez will ultimately be one of the two best pitchers in the game. But not with the pathetic bats he has behind him now. Rangers are not scoring much either. Good spot for an average thrower in Harrison to get some work without doing damage. We really do not see much in the way of runs today in Arlington.

Be back later for night action.

You should spend some time in thought. And number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.” ---Jim Valvano

Sat 4/10/10 MLB Night Plays

Night Games:

957 Saturday, 4/10/2010 Philadelphia Phillie ( -132.0) 3 units
7:05pm EST Houston Astros

980 Saturday, 4/10/2010 Laa Angels ( -144.0) 2 units
9:05pm EST Laa Angels

966 Saturday, 4/10/2010 San Francisco Giants (+115.0) 2 units
10:05pm EST San Francisco Giants

979 Saturday, 4/10/2010 Oakland Athletics Over 8.5 3 units
9:05pm EST Laa Angels

- Moyer had a resurgent spring. No reason to believe Astros will wake up anytime soon.

- Still have to fade Sheets. Angels have to win eventually. NOTE: our monitor still has this at this morning's line. For consistency sake, we have no choice but to go with it

- Cannot find a reason to jump of the SF Giant train, especially with Chipper out.

- Fading Sheets and Weaver (lesser of two evils) translates to an OVER play. Starting to see some 8.0's out there for reasons we know not.
