RUDY NYC Sports MLB Play of the Day (10/06/09)

Another day where RUDY will be on the road until around game time, so we'll get this one out there early:

Today's Play:

We believe that the Twins will use their home field advantage and find a way to win this one. Apparently so do the books with the line now at -165. We do not lay 165 and advise you do not do so in this type of game with Scott Baker on the hill. We also see this as a close game, so laying the runs, 1.5 for the game or .5 a run for 5 innings, seems dangerous. By now you know where this one is leading!

This one has UNDER 8.5 written all over it. Porcello has pitched brilliantly down the stretch and had a stellar performance last week against the Twins. Baker, a hot and cold pitcher, has been steady and picked up a victory last week versus the Tigers. Both pens are solid and we can expect to see many arms today. These teams have collectively played 20 games to the the UNDER after 162 games and we can expect a real nip and tuck battle today under the Dome.

The Play: UNDER 8.5 -110

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?
