Rudy NYC Sports Plays of the Day -04/08/10 (7-0 MLB)

3-0 +6.0 units yesterday
7-0 +15.34 2010 MLB season
-----------------------------------

Day games only:

961 Thursday, 4/8/2010 Toronto Blue Jays ( +149.0) 2 units
2:05pm EST Texas Rangers

- Blue Jays' Romereo - actually saw him pitch in Florida; was very sharp - have to love Jays at this price

963 Thursday, 4/8/2010 Detroit Tigers ( +110.0) 2 units
2:10pm EST Kansas City Royals

- Again, the better team, Tigers, as a dog - Bannister way too inconsistent - line set on Bannister's succeses in the past

Be back later with night plays.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Good luck Rudy. My initial thoughts were the same, Romero is still a relatively nice quite secret and at that price very nice indeed. I only backed off due to CJ Wilson having quite a spring and turning out to be a strikeout king with his numbers in the spring. We'll see how it plays out, but value on the jays for sure....hope you cash man.

Agree 100%...not crazy with how Rangers came out of the gate...and yes, I saw Wilson's numbers for the spring...let's see if he maintains those K's...I do not consider him a quality starter, at least not yet. We'll see!

he's a reliever making the jump to starter. Let's see how he's doing after the 3rd or 4th inning.

That's where you and I are alike...we handicap baseball the same way we used to handicap harness racing...lol

Geez, I miss the days of hanging out at Roosevelt Raceway and watching Carmine come in at a price but only from the 8 hole!

As a starter, No question he's a ?, but what he showed in spring kept me off this game...he went 5 strong no-hit innings in his last spring start, does he bring it to regular season we'll see, but many like what he has......but value still on Jays. Not pouring cold water on ya Rood....just saying. Want you to cash. GL
