We were going to write up the A's (and grab the dog money) as a posted play but Suzuki is out on bereavement this weekend and R Davis is still listed as doubtful. Yes, we know about Lincecum's recent troubles and we know about the 1-0 shutout Gonzalez threw a few weeks ago against the Jints, but it might take that type performance to best the southpaw loving Giants.

The reasons for passing on all games today:
- We seldom do well in the first day of an Interleague series, so let's wait until tomorrow's opportunities and having looked already, there are some.
- This card is brutal!!! That said, there are many great match-ups tonight but little value. Someone else perhaps can find the gold!
