RudyNYC MLB Plays of the Day - 4/6/2011

Tuesday 1-1, +0.74 units (won our first 2 unit play)
Season 6-2, +6.665 units
----------------------------------------------

For Tuesday Afternoon (might add a night play later):

LA Angels/ TB Rays UNDER 7.5 -125 (5dimes) 1.5 units
Okay, the cat is out of the bag: the Rays cannot hit as evidenced by their .138 BA with 6 runs scored, both lowest in the majors. Although the Angels are batting a MLB 5th best BA of .295, they face the next Rays' phenom pitcher, Jeremy Hellickson. Although we believe the veteran Angels team will get a few against Hellickson, we still believe this is an UNDER situation. Dan Haren, the best pitcher with the worst run support in MLB over the last few years and who has a lifetime WHIP of 1.19, should have little difficulty with the the TB Manny's (did we mention Manny is now batting .062...phew...we suppose he will get benched today with the excuse "day game rest"). Unless Hellickson falters, which we doubt, this one has UNDER written all over it.

Rudy

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?
