We seldom go against the Royals at home but we have to fade Kyle Davies as much as possible until he goes the way of one of our all time fades, Sidney Ponson. Kyle Davis is not a good pitcher. He is a lifetime 43-57 pitcher with a career 5.56 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and .286 BAA. This year his numbers already look worse: 1-1, 9.00 ERA, 2.21 WHIP, and .383 BAA.

We know both teams are playing way above their expectations but the offenses have comparable numbers so we can side with the starting pitcher, Carlos Carrasco, who stats are not quite as bad as Davies (1-1, 5.03, 1.32, .264). Note that the Indians are hitting .313 against southpaws.

Playing the 5 innings because of KC's tendency to score runs late at home and because of their strong relief.
