Originally reported on Newsday, then all over Twitter, now half the sources are running with it and half are saying inconclusive.
Please do not take him away. He is the only joy a Mets fan has.

Edinson Volquez
SI.com's Jon Heyman reports that Edinson Volquez has been suspended 50 games for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs. Finally, the big reveal. Volquez is on the 60-day disabled list as he recovers from Tommy John surgery and isn't expected to be healthy until well after the All-Star break. Once activated, he'll have to sit out 50 games, so it's safe to assume that he won't throw a pitch in 2010
