Arrow HRE is the Greatest

Monster run, Paul - props to ya.

Today's idle speculation on HRE vs. simply betting O/u totals:

There may be factors that lead a particular team or park to produce more overs in one area than the other (lots of home-runs, either for you or against you, say, may inflate your O/u ratio but under-influence your HRE number).

But then consider this:

It's possible that HRE is more "formful" than straight O/u.

Like who hasn't lost a bad beat on an "under" bet when some random late runs came in in a game you thought you had cinched (4-1 in the bottom of the eighth, say, with the home team leading).

A game like that might fall 9 or 10 in runs but only 25 or so on the HRE.

In conclusion, I implore you:

All readers who find this analysis excruciating (and number me among you) should write into this thread complaining about Miami's late rally which kept you from a perfect 6-0 last night.

hockey True Story viz. Carl Spackler

So I'm shopping for groceries on the next block at the food temple and the girl behind the counter happens to come from Nepal and she starts telling me about this movie Dr. Strange, where the main character gets his strength from a visit to the mountain city of Katmandu.

So I'm in Nepal looping, and I get matched up with the Dalai Lama. Great hitter, the Lama, so we finish the round and I can see he's going to stiff me on the tip, so I say, Hey Dalai, How about a little something, you know, for the effort, how about it?

I'm sorry, where was I going with this, I totally lost the through-line....

Maybe Keith will know, someone ask Keith....

Frankly, I still haven't gotten over Miami making those three runs in the eighth inning last night....

Sound of One Hand Clapping

How Tres Buddhist of you, not betting can be more rewarding than betting.

.... I left out the most important part: The other cashier (not quite as hot as the first one) was from Katmandu too!

Sunday 8/13

Under 28 Cubs/Ariz
Under 27 S.D./LAD
Under 31 Houston/Texas
Under 28.5 Sea/LAA

Good Luck if your playing

I grabbed a 32.5 on the Houston game and a 30 on the Seattle game off screen. As you know I use 5 Dimes for consistency and today the sharper books are in line with 5 Dimes but there's some slow books out there so once again I'm just mentioning something I know you know but shop your props.
